The Humidity Sensor Switch provides automatic ventilation control to help manage excess moisture in bathrooms, laundry rooms, and other humidity-prone spaces. Designed for use with compatible exhaust fans, the switch monitors indoor relative humidity and automatically activates the fan when humidity exceeds the selected setting, helping reduce moisture buildup and conditions that contribute to mold and mildew growth.
Featuring three selectable humidity settings of Low, Medium, and High, within a 45% -80% relative humidity (RH)
range, the switch allows users to adjust its sensitivity to suit their ventilation needs. These settings are designed
to support the humidity-control requirements of California's CALGreen building standards when used in an
appropriately configured bathroom ventilation system.
The switch operates the fan in 20-minute cycles and automatically turns it off when the selected operating cycle is complete. During extended periods of high humidity, the controller can pause between cycles before
automatically resuming ventilation as needed.
A manual ON/OFF button provides convenient fan control when desired. Rated for fan loads up to 3 A, this single
pole switch requires a neutral wire for operation.
By automatically managing exhaust fan operation, the Humidity Sensor Switch provides a convenient alternative to traditional manual switches, helping maintain a more comfortable indoor environment while reducing the need for users to remember to operate the fan.
